Kawai Ruka (河井瑠花), born on March 20, 2002, is a Japanese rapper and dancer under YG Entertainment. She debuted as a member of the girl group BABYMONSTER in 2023, known for her exceptional talent in dance, which she has cultivated for over a decade. Before joining YG, Ruka was a member of the Japanese idol group Shibu3 Project. After passing the YG Entertainment audition in 2018, she trained for nearly five years before making her official debut. Ruka is admired for her dynamic stage presence, having been praised by her instructors and YG Entertainment executives for her dancing skills. She is one of the first Japanese female idols to debut under YG, making her an important figure for both the group and the company’s international expansion.
